Spooky Season Post #24: Supernatural

Supernatural premiered on September 13, 2005, on The WB, with swoon-worthy Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and equally hot Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, in a series that ran for 15 seasons (327 episodes)! The pilot built around the legend of ghosts haunting bridges (Paradise's Sarah Shahi earliest role as the vengeful entity), and I was hooked immediately. Adorable Misha Collins as the angel Castiel joined in Season 4 in 2008 in the "Lazarus Rising" episode. I can't put into words how important this show is/was to me as a writer of speculative horror fiction and as a human being. But I can tell you every time I see a Black Impala sedan...I get excited in more ways than one! 😈
